Writing to local papers

The National Front would like to encourage our members and supporters to write into the letters section of their local newspapers, as can be seen by this example, some newspapers like this one from Derby are prepared to publish them. As well as promoting the National Front it also promotes the individual, as candidates who are well known in their local communities tend to fair a lot better than those who only turn up around election time.

Other important activities for local activists include submitting Freedom of information Requests (FOI) and attending Council Meetings and other meetings. Reporting on local meetings and Freedom of Information Requests is also useful ways of raising a candidate’s profile and raising campaign issues for elections.
